What It Is
The program, written down.
This is not a book about leadership assembled from other books about leadership. It is the curriculum the Consortium has taught since 2012 — ten attributes, each one carried in the classroom by a Ph.D. facilitator and a sitting executive, each one tested on cohorts across three continents.
What is new is the era. Every attribute chapter now asks two questions: what does artificial intelligence change here, and what can the machine not do? Each ends with a human–machine exercise, so the reader practices rather than nods.
It is practice-derived scholarship in Ernest Boyer’s sense — the scholarship of application and of teaching — written by a scholar-practitioner who carried the theory and stood in the room.
